Why is this required?

Even if you have been out of contract or service with your previous alarm company for years, companies typically do not release or "unlock" their systems for other providers to use. The M2M Module helps bypass this restriction by overriding the old programming. It essentially resets the system's communication path, allowing KLEVR to fully take over and provide reliable 24/7 monitoring for your existing hardware.
